Boarding and Training
Our two Board and Train programs include a lifetime commitment to the training we provide. Both the handler and dog are assessed before confirming their eligibility for our Board + Train Programs.
What sets us apart from other trainers is the handler education we provide. We offer seven hours of comprehensive educational handler sessions within the first month of your dog's return.
After that, we can visit you once a month for the life of your dog to help you with whatever comes up so long as you are keeping up with maintenance. Our goal is to empower you to problem-solve as well as continue your own dog's training based on your interests and needs. The handler training appointments alone have a value of $1,400.
We offer up to six months of no-interest financing for our Board and Train Services.
Individual Handler Training
During weekly in-home sessions, we work together to create a customized plan of action so you can obtain a more balanced relationship with your dog. In order to achieve your goals you must be willing to learn, make mistakes, and most importantly have fun!
Many dog owners deal with communication problems, that create stress within their relationship. Clear communication for us means teaching the dog what behaviors we want and stopping the behaviors we don’t want.
We will discuss how creating a consistent schedule for your dog will help them understand your expectations and boundaries. You will learn how to incorporate obedience throughout your day so you are not overwhelmed. This will allow you to get the necessary repetitions in for your dog to classically condition behaviors while not spending hours a day training them.
During our sessions, we will discuss the importance of fun and how playing with your dog strategically can improve your and your animal's mental health, creating a better bond that is a mutually beneficial relationship.
Training during the week looks like 5-10 minute sessions before each meal with two days off during the week.
